Most of my journal entries are friends-locked. Please feel free to friend me if you know roughly who I am, and I'll friend you back if I know roughly who you are.
0-5 Mostly Surrey. The first thing I said was "Look, light" on a sleeper train in France.
5-10 Mostly Essex. My sister and I made ourselves bows and arrows and climbed trees in the back garden.
10-15 Essex/Cambridge. I didn't practice the piano enough to be unworried before a lesson. I concentrated (usually) at school.
15-20 Mostly Cambridge. I played bridge to meet guys and drank coffee even though I didn't really like it. I dyed my hair blonde. I went out with Al for two years (Trinity mathmo), and at the end of my first year at uni I met Edward (Trinity mathmo).
20-25 Cambridge/Oxford. I was very lucky with my degree despite spending the whole of the weekend before my finals playing The Longest Journey computer game, which was the best fun ever. I also danced quite a lot. I studied papyrology for my part time MA at UCL while living in Cambridge and tried always to sit on the same seat in the same carriage while commuting. I had a lovely blue Vespa. Edward and I got married. We moved to Oxford where we lived on Jowett Walk in Merton College accommodation, and I got a job training as a chartered accountant in Reading.
25-30 Swindon/Reading/St Albans. I let my hair get back to its natural light brown. Edward and I bought a pretty Victorian terraced house in Swindon, then a suburbian semi in Caversham. Then we split up. A little while later I moved to St Albans, as a change; also as a change my hair is now red.
